January 20, 201313 yr So I got a Samsung Galaxy recently, and I was wondering if there was a way to use the Galaxy to program my FMC on the PMDG 737NGX. I googled it, but had no luck. Any ideas? January 20, 201313 yr I own the Galaxy S3 too and I know of no specific FSX apps for the Android OS. This does not mean they do not exist, I just have not seen any. So far only Apple products (I-Pad, I-Phone, etc.) have apps and I saw none for that product that will allow you to program your FMC. If you do a search on the Internet for an ICAO App for the Galaxy S3, you'll find you can get an app with detailed information about the airport you are taking off or landing at. It has charts and detailed info about most airports. This info would help you with the programming of your FMC, especially the SID/STAR charts. Perhaps the developers who made the apps for the I-Phone, etc., will eventually make one for the Android system too. I'm not sure what you are looking for in regards to 'program the FMC for the PMDG737'. Are you looking for instructions on how to program the FMC? I know PMDG puts out detailed information on programming. There's a program called PDFKneeboard - http://code.google.com/p/fscode/wiki/PDFKneeboard that reads PDF documents on the FSX kneepad. Once open, it will remain on top of your active window until you close it. Download for FSX is under the Download Menu. I did some searching and some members here at AVSIM had some problems making this work for FSX and some had no problems. I heard it worked great for FS9. Maybe other readers here will comment on this if you are interested. If was really developed for posting airport charts, SIDs and STARS but don't see any reason why it would not work for programming the FMC. Just a suggestion. January 20, 201313 yr You can try Air Display, it works well but it does have a frame rate hit. You need to use the sim in Windowed mode which is no big deal. It actually works quite well. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
January 20, 201313 yr The Aerosoft Airbus X has this feature built in. I used it on my nine inch Lenovo Ideapad as well as my SIII But the screen lags when you are inputting to the scratch pad so I don't use it. Al Stiff
January 20, 201313 yr hello, you could try airdisplay but I don't know if it would work on android (The Galaxy tablet uses android...?) There is an app called splashtop that has been developped for both the ipad as well as for android. I am using it to connect my pc to the ipad, move the fmc from the pc to the tablet, enlarge it to full screen and voila... It works rockstable, almost no impact on framerates. The only limiting factor is batterylife. If you want to make a 8hour flight, you risk draining the battery before touchdown. Search the web for Xdisplay and Splashtop. Luc Brusselmans Belgium
January 20, 201313 yr correction to my previous post... As it stands, Xdisplay is not compatible with android.... Shame because it works great on my ipad.... Luc Brusselmans Belgium

Thanks Jim, this should help me a lot with IFR flights Also, thanks to everyone who mentioned Air Display. This looks like it would work great for what I'm trying to do.
