Could it be cause by Ultimate traffic II?

The only way you can find out is to disable it. I know MyTrafficX has a line in the Scenery Library where I can disable it temporarily. Not sure about Ultimate Traffic but look in the Scenery Library for a line then disable it by removing the checkmark. I suppose you could try changing the Airline AI slider to 0 too but, if it's still activated in the Scenery Library, it could still cause problems (if you think it's the culprit).

Best regards,

Jim

Ok, after 6 days with all traffic sliders to zero, i've never got a CTD. That means (maybe) that the problem is UT II. Could uninstalling and reinstalling Ultimate traffic II fix this bug? Thank you.

Best regards

Hi Real,

Yes, that is a strong indicator its UT II and uninstalling/reinstalling would not hurt or be a major operation. Make sure you install it as the Administrator. AI also is resource hungry and it could have triggered something else but think you are on the right track. Hope so anyway!

Best regards,

Jim

Just for you info Jim.

My computer seems to be stable so far. I've increased the traffic from 30% to 75% and see if i'll get a CTD. Hope not.

Real Deraps

Hi Real,

Whew! I thought you were reporting a CTD again! I keep my traffic slider at 40% as it provides a lot of traffic (for realism) and it's easier on fps. I don't think any addon AI program was made for anything above 40% as they say 40% equals 100% in the default AI program. Good luck!

Best regards,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Just wondering, if i keep my slider at 40% in Ultimate traffic II, do i also have to keep it at 40% in FSX or it doesn't matter where it is in FSX?

Best regards

Hi Real,

I do not have Ultimate Traffic II installed (own it though). Just MyTrafficX. MyTrafficX uses the setting in the FSX settings page. I do not know why you have a slider in UT II and the one in FSX. Sorry I can't help you on that one!

Best regards,

Jim

I believe FSX and UT2 traffic settings are independent of each other. I set FSX traffic to 0%, UT2 commercial aviation traffic to 80%, and UT2 GA traffic to 0%.

Thank you guys. I'll try your settings next flight Owen.

Thank you guys. I'll try your settings next flight Owen.

You're welcome. Feel free to experiment with settings. I fly commercial aircraft, so GA traffic is less important to me.

Please start a new post. Adding onto this post makes things confusing as it is difficult to keep track of who has what error and the recommendations for the fix. When you post your error, please post the error report by using AppCrashView - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html. Thanks!
