AOTD for 1/29/13 - Pool of Ohe'o

Recommended Posts

Looks like another swoop and collect type of aerocache. Back to Hawaii to unfreeze the CC.

Enjoy.

Thank you.

Looked more like a "land the Icon in the ocean and walk upstream" type to me. Some picturesque pools on the way.

At Hana, on the runway, ready for take-off.

I followed the Hana Highway all the way down, easy to find.

And then followed the stream up to the Makahiku Falls and the Seven Pools.

Oh yes, the road to Hana. Actually drove that road once many years ago. We drove past the 7 pools on the way. I remember it being a very rough road at the time, slow going. Must be much better now I would think. Landed at Kahului afterward and found my favorite pick up truck with the one red door again. They must airlift it between islands.
