Ken, I did just what you suggested with a nojoy. First, FSAS version 1.5 is pointed at the old windows .ini and things work just perfect. from version 1.6 on where you put the ini file in the document folders FSAS has never worked on my system. I know that I am doing something wrong, since it works for others, but I be damn if I can figure out what is wrong on my system. version 1.5 works flaless on my rig, but antthing from there on has this problem of the control program just shutting down on startup.Right now is am stuck on a perfect 1.5 with none of the new interface stuff with build 9. I don't know why mine does not work, but thanks for a great utilityBob Johnson

Ken, just a bit more feedback - in a reply above, I mentioned that my copy of FSAutostart "displays an error message for a service called SymProxySvc, which apparently is a dependant of NISUM, saying this cannot be terminated" - well, this red error message has now disappeared, so I guess it worked itself out....Great program, frees up about 80Mb each time.:) Thank you!Mike F.

KEN, i UPGRADED TO YOUR VER 1.1 AND I SEEM TO BE HAVING A PROBLEM WHEN THE RESTART SECTION STARTS IT QUITS BEFOR ALL IS UP AND RUNNING FORCEING ME TO REBOOT AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG.THANKS TONY

I see a change in my sim's performance, Barry. Of course, I don't have what anyone would call a high-end rig anymore. But darn it, it was a few months ago! I find that using FSA results in smoother performance with fewer stutters than without. I attribute this mainly to it turning off my anti-virus program, but I'm sure the freeing up of other system resources is helping, too.thanks,
