After taking off from Pepeekeo, I noticed that one of the artists doodled on the ground texture.

 

 

 

 

Must have been a slow day at MGS.

As usual, I can't resist exploring so I followed the stream all the way up.

 

 

 

 

It is always astonishing to see such density of trees. And to be able to follow the stream so far. And all in places where most people never go. Incredible scenery.

Didn't research too much. Just wanted to fly around a bit looking. Spotted it after flying up a couple of wrong ravines.

 

Almost landed a bit too hot.

 

 

Who's responsible this runways' design anyway?

After getting the big Kahuna I dropped in on Mauna Kea-Honolii air strip. This short dirt strip seems to be half up hill and down hill at the same time, cresting at the top.
