February 18, 201313 yr There is no other 172 available right now aside from the Flight1 and Carenado models. They are both very dated. There's nothing dated in the Carenado modelling which is excellent, but the design of the plane they modelled may possibly be 'dated' to be useful to the OP. Cincidentally, that Carenado model is exactly what I flew in flight school. Well, ONE of our planes had a GPS, and we all got ONE GPS lesson flight. The rest, nope. Carenado is therefore perfect for reliving my glory days. I think it handles better than the default too.
February 19, 201313 yr That looks horrid. Is there any way around it that anyone knows of? I always use the Reality XP 530 as a 'pop-up' panel, its easier to use the buttons & knobs that way and avoids ugly problems like in the photo above.
