March 7, 201313 yr I'm going to be getting. You guys tell me if it sounds good. Intel i5 3570k @ 3.3 GHz and I will be overclocking it hopefully. The NVidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB. 8GB RAM This computer should run FSX significantly better. Still, always be wise with settings. Okay, that picture is very disturbing. Um . . . I agree.
March 7, 201313 yr Slow CPU and Intel graphics card is a sure recipe for poor sim performance, especially with MicroSoft's flight sims. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
March 7, 201313 yr Thanks for the replies again. I have tried tweaking and I have all the service packs and other stuff you guys have suggested but it doesn't seem to improve fps. I knew that I didn't meet the minimum requirements but I went ahead and bought them because I knew I was going to be getting a new computer soon and I just wanted to try it out on the sytem I have now. Here is some of the specs of the new PC I'm going to be getting. You guys tell me if it sounds good. Intel i5 3570k @ 3.3 GHz and I will be overclocking it hopefully. The NVidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB. 8GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive, 430W Corsair Power Supply and the rest of the specs are really just basic stuff. Thanks. Might want to get a different Graphics card 660TI or 670 and a bigger power supply no point in skimping and just having to replace it in a few months when the I want more FPS bug bites you.
