New Nvidia (beta) drivers out..

Recommended Posts

Per the title, version 314.14, plus a new, (also beta) version of Inspector is out, too - reported as "1.97" instead of the more usual "1.9.7.x" at the top of the Inspector opening screen. Both with changes accounting for the new hardware - the GK 110 - just  released, and the GTX 690.

As usual, too, Nvidia claims the driver adds anywhere up to a 20%+ improvement in all games... (but with no mention of FSX...... )

Two unusual happenings - 1). the driver installation didn't force a restart (I don't install all the components, but it has always done so in the past) and 2). Inspector opened showing the overclocking screen as default.

I too see those two behaviors you observed happen.  Beyond that all seems well, especially with my new MSI 660 ti TF (got it OCed stable to get stock 670 performance).  Now back to flying.

Same here - driver update without restart, and NI reporting a new update which I promptly installed - 1.97

In fact it now always starts with the OC screen open.

Other than this, all running beautifully here - DCS World and FXS Gold DX10 :-)))))

All good. No issues here, either.

I can't remember the last time I had to reboot after upgrading the Nvidia drivers. I run FSX on its own PC so only install the drivers, nothing else.
