March 13, 201313 yr so after loading the short turn panel state The view would randomly change to outside view. At first I thought it was a problem with my mouse because it happened so close to my clicking on the CDU. reloaded flightsim still did it again. Then I re-installed fsuicp (reg. version) re-imputed my joystick commands. Reloaded FSX then disabled the view switch keyboard command and joystick command. reloaded FSX and it still happened. It has happened on 2 of my repaints (only tried 2 of them before getting frustrated and asking for assistance) and only happens if I change the panel state. Any help would be much appreciated. March 13, 201313 yr Hmmm I'm a bit suspicous that you say you have been using fsuipc. Are you sure you arn't running any mouse macros? J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
March 13, 201313 yr I would suspect sticky buttons. Check the 'A' and 'W' keys on your keyboard and check the view button on your joystick. Try just calibrating your joystick to check its buttn functions. Paul Smith.
March 13, 201313 yr Author I checked FSUIPC again no macros or anything out of the ordinary, removed fuctionality in FSX for changing the views. Both Keyboard and Joystick, so it shouldn't be changing but yet it still does. And it is only the PMDG 737ngx all my other a/c work fine Stumped Russell Homan
March 13, 201313 yr Do you use OpusFSX with their Automatic Head Movement enabled? It doesn't sound like this would be your problem based on what you're doing when you get the switch in views but just thought I'd throw it out there. For me, I haven't spent the time to totally disable AHM in Opus. So some times, like when GSX is pushing me back and they turn me one way or the other(turning the rudder), this causes my view to "jump". But, it's the same view, just a different angle. So, again, probably not what you're experiencing. Regards, Kevin LaMal "Facts Don't Care About Your Feelings" - Shapiro2024
March 13, 201313 yr F11 key ok? not sticking? Is it a panel state from default or 1 you made yourself? Regards Luke M

March 14, 201313 yr What sort of views are they? Are they standard FSX. Also check that no Windows 7 short cuts are interfereing. J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
March 14, 201313 yr Are you using a saitek joystick ? Then search Saitek forum for ghosts keys. I had a similar issue: * I clear (delete) all assignments with view in FSX * Then added view commands one by one. Bottom line: clear all view related (default) FSX key/joystick settings then re-assign them: do save them ! Behavior: from the VC cockpit the view changed suddenly to exterior view I noticed this was triggered when turning left... Later I noticed that sometimes it was just when I turned (left or right). Searched Saitek forum and found a solution. Hope this can help you. ____________________________________________________ Dieter de Wit
March 14, 201313 yr Author Well thanks for all the responses. I posted here because it was only with the PMDG a/c. So I unistalled then reinstalled It. I have been testing for the last couple of hours it appears that it has been solved. I don't know how or why it started and why it quit but it did. Thanks again Russell Homan
