March 17, 201313 yr Author Find the line of code that is the equator and remove it / disable it?! This I do not understand! Regards Tom
March 17, 201313 yr I have done one thing and one thing only to eliminate this IMHO nauseating 'feature' in FSX. Camera.cfg/virtual cockpit/dynamicheadmovement = 0 Sorry this doesn't work for you.
March 17, 201313 yr I have a tutorial on this here: http://forum.avsim.net/tutorials/article/61-how-to-disable-cockpit-head-movement-g-forces/ i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
March 17, 201313 yr Author I have a tutorial on this here: http://forum.avsim.net/tutorials/article/61-how-to-disable-cockpit-head-movement-g-forces/ Yes this well known meanwhile - funny thing is that the SDK says the syntax must be YES or NO instead TRUE or FALSE anyway I tried both - sitll moving. Tom

Tom Hmm, which [CameraDefinition.XX] are you changing these settings on? Edited March 17, 201313 yr by linux731 i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
March 17, 201313 yr Author Hmm, which [CameraDefinition.XX] are you changing these settings on? User - AppData - Roaming - Microsoft - FSX - Cameras.cfg and I searched otheres and in the PMDG planes as well This comes from the FSX SDK site momentumeffect bool Yes/No Virtual Cockpit( MomentumEffect = Yes ) Controls whether the camera exhibits momentum effect. This is determined by the settings in the Dynamic Head Movement section. Regards Tom

March 17, 201313 yr Author Write False instead of Yes/No. Of course I tried this. No result. Regards Tom
March 17, 201313 yr Of course I tried this. No result. Regards Tom Weird. Do you have TeamViewer? I could try and send my configuration to you. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
March 17, 201313 yr Author Actually I do not have it in the monent cause I am on ipad. But please go with the ngx or md11 to edds or eddm and drive a circle on the apron and look if it moves. It moves really less in norway. You can copy the lines of the cameras.cfg direct here in the threat. It is just a copy paste. Regards Tom

But in any case, the region where you're flying shouldn't really matter... This is what my cameras.cfg looks like for the Virtual Cockpit setup: [CameraDefinition.002] Title = Virtual Cockpit Guid = {C95EAB58-9E4A-4E2A-A34C-D8D9D948F078} Description = This is the description of the virtual cockpit view. Origin = Virtual Cockpit MomentumEffect = Yes SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel SnapPbhReturn = False PanPbhAdjust = Swivel PanPbhReturn = False Track = None ShowAxis = YES AllowZoom = TRUE InitialZoom = 0.7 SmoothZoomTime = 2.0 ZoomPanScalar = 1.0 ShowWeather = Yes XyzAdjust = TRUE ShowLensFlare=FALSE Category = Cockpit PitchPanRate=30 HeadingPanRate=75 PanAcceleratorTime=0 HotKeySelect=1 Hmm, apparently mine has "yes" as a setting. March 17, 201313 yr Author You see it is YES and NO. But anyway No or False doesn't stop the view drifting. I konw it should not have a geographical impact - but it has. Others found the same problem. Try and you will see. But I do not want to bother you with this phenomen. I only want to stop it. Regards Ton
March 18, 201313 yr I currently have my rudder pedals and yoke uninstalled in preparation for the 777, but I will get back to you. You see it is YES and NO. But anyway No or False doesn't stop the view drifting. I konw it should not have a geographical impact - but it has. Others found the same problem. Try and you will see. March 18, 201313 yr Author I guess if PMDG does not do anything against that Head movement it will be worse in the 777 cause it is a big plane and the POV is far away from the Center of the plane, like in their MD11 and 747. But maybe they cannot cause this is just FSX and only a change in the FSX code could change it like some people say. Regards Tom Off topic @linux BTW why do you deinstall your hardware cause you wait for the 777? Cheers Tom
March 18, 201313 yr Off topic @linux BTW why do you deinstall your hardware cause you wait for the 777? Cheers Tom Well I didn't uninstall my yoke and stuff specifically for the 777. I had to clean my desktop before my new keyboard & mouse arrive(which both arrive today!). i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
