March 19, 201313 yr Author @peacedivision you said that you cannot eliminate the head drifting. @linux731 @scotthefsxguy @olli473 you three pilots said you could manage to stop the head drifting Now I like to know who of you installed the FSX SDK software and which version do you have. For FSX with SP1 and SP2 there are SDK SP1A and SP2 For FSX with Accelaration there are SDK SP1 and XPack see: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/wiki/index.php?title=SDK_Installation_(FSX) Cheers Tom
March 19, 201313 yr It's a v10.0.6.1472.0 which I believe is SDK SP2. I never installed the Xpack so I never re-installed its SDK. What happened to AVSIM
March 19, 201313 yr Author ok thnx for answer I am thinking if it maybe has something to do with the SDK SPacks. Tom
March 26, 201313 yr I have a tutorial on this here: http://forum.avsim.n...ement-g-forces/ Thank you! While this "tweak" did not completely eliminate my inertia issue, it has made flying the PMDG B747 much more pleasant.
March 28, 201313 yr Are you using FSInn? It has a feature to turn on and off head movement too. (I think.)
April 16, 201412 yr How did you eventually turn it off? Ahmed Abdessalam "That which means you can't, doesn't mean you ain't. And that which means you ain't, doesn't mean you can't" -Ahmed Abdessalam
February 18, 20179 yr After that I took off in my PMDG MD-11: The head movement was still off, for sure! Any other device that might intervene? Just to say something weird again: TrackIR?!? Hey ! Guys doing as previously said: In fsx.cfg change to this: [DynamicHeadMovement] HeadMoveTimeConstant=0.000000 LonAccelOnHeadLon=-0.000000 LonAccelOnHeadPitch=-0.000000 MaxHeadAngle=0.000000 MaxHeadOffset=0.000000 RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.000000 RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.000000 YawAccelOnHeadLat=-0.000000 It works for me, there is no head movement anymore, no ailerons bumping as well. Thank you for your help !!! Alex
