MD11, still worth it?

I think I heard Douglas aircraft were a Pilots Aircraft, meaning they were the best of the best.  I enjoy the MD11, she definitely is not "just another Boeing" and it will keep your toes.  Especially in a cross wind landing.  Still a great plane from PMDG, she will have a place in my fleet for a long time.

Most definitely!  PMDG is many levels above other aircraft developers.  When I'm not flying my NGX, I take the MD-11 out of the hangar for cargo ops.  The fact that both planes are so different to fly, keep things interesting.

World still has 8 MD-11's active.  Three are on DoD contract for military charter pax service and one MD-11F is supporting US Air Force cargo missions

Nothing too substantial too add beyond a resounding "YES" for the worth it question.  It occupies a unique position in our hobby and you can use about one hand to count the number of truly high-fidelity complex addons we have.
