At the risk of stepping into the lion's den..............."That doesn't matter, what does matter is, popularizing tools that allow modification of the original model is WRONG."Is this really all that different from buying a car and customizing it?As long as the modifier doesn't offer the modded item for sale as all his own work it seems to me to be OK. IMHO Legally I would guess that you can buy anything ( software -car - aircraft- radio- anything ) and modify it for your own use.Surely you will invalidate any garauntees or warranties but the main thing is that the designer, builder or (in the case of software) writer has got his due profit or benefit arising from the sale of one unit. It's only when you attempt to market his design as your own work that you step over the line. Then you are cheating the originator .If improvements or changes to existing designs were not allowed we would surely never have progressed in any field - including Computer softwareDave

I love flying good VCs, but I can also understand, that people, who have slower systems, want to remove them. Because VCs, especially highres and complex ones definitely slow down performance in 2D mode!!. Thus removing the VC will speed up the performance in 2D mode.BTW, in the days of my old system, I allways have removed static planes from add on airport sceneries. I never had a bad conscious about this.Wolfgang
