Back with "The Queen"!

Took mine up for a circuit today. It has been a long time, and I forgot how nice and heavy it feels when hand flying. I really have a thing for big aircraft because they are more fun to land IMO, so although the 777 will be cool, I am more excited for the 747 v2.

I think it is one of the most Beautiful aircraft ever built. Can you see Air Force One in the 787?

Thanks,

Ron

My thoughts exactly.

I have been flying the Aerosoft's Airbus extended 320 since it was released.. Its easy to fly the airbus with its amazing FBW and autothrust and the eye candy of its VC.

Then last week, I went back to the PMDG 747. WOW! Been missing the queen and didn't even know it. Last week, all I was doing was flying the queen all over.  For Hand flying and landing this gentle beast, there is nothing that comes close.

My two fav livery for the 747 is the very nice high quality Singapore Airlines and then the Lufthansa skin.

I am now seriously considering the 737 NG, but since my platform is not supported... :-/

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

After flying the NGX for several months, I decided to go back to the queen. Even though the cockpit looks dated, well compared to NGX anyway, I forgot how much I love flying her. Even though the aircraft was developed 7 years ago, its still a beaut to fly. cant wait to see what PMDG have done with V2!!
