April 8, 201313 yr I have to admit, for whatever reason, I rarely fly at night. However, I do enjoy the occasional dawn or dusk flight. The other day I flew just that, and I noticed that the NGX semed extremely dark from the outside, in fact a lot darker than I would have thought normal. Can anyone confirm that what I'm seeing is OK and if not, what the problem might be. Thanks guys... April 8, 201313 yr I would say it's more a case of that scenery being too bright as opposed to the NGX being too dark..? For example the ramp looks way too bright to me. Signed: Neil Keane
April 8, 201313 yr Do the texture maps look darker than other liveries? When view in Photoshop or DXT paint? J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
April 8, 201313 yr Oh wait the cabin lights are there, it looked much darker when i viewed it on my phone, it looks about right to me, maybe it appears off because of the well lit AI in the background and the scenery being bright. April 8, 201313 yr You can adjust the cabin windows in the FMS somewhere, Usually they are set to Auto, and they only get up to full brightness with the doors open and engines shut down but APU on with electrical bus on APU generator. When the door closes they dim to about 50% (they would normally be controlled by cabin crew). April 9, 201313 yr The light system in FSX is pretty terrible. In reality the scenery looks as bright as the screenshot and the ground (at least here at eddc concrete is used) reflects the light to the plane. It looks like on day. The only difference is you should switch on wheel well when changing inner tires/brakes  Here's a good picture: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Lufthansa/Airbus-A321-231/2249400/&sid=ca33b4ed2ac4e35e9fe5c1a873ca082e Kind regards, Stefan Sondermann
