Something strange going on here again. Just checked in the game and Hinalele falls aerocache shows one hour remaining, still should be Ladd field I think. Anyway I went out and got it. Sure looks familiar but all these falls look somewhat alike.

 

Edit: Well, it is on the permanent aerocahe list way down toward the bottom so I guess I got it twice.

Yeah, that was weird and surprising that it showed up this morning...but even weirder was that there were TWO Hinalele Falls icons at different points up that valley.  I got both of them and got credit for both.  Did you see the second one?

 

I had gotten Hinalele Falls a while back as a routine grab while tooling around Kauai, so I didn't expect credit for the second one, but it came in as a good get anyway...go figure.  I guess it has something to do with the fact that they repeat caches every now and then...

 

I've been trying to keep a clean record of all AOTD's since July, but it's gotten all but impossible. It seems that if you don't check the website several times a day, you'll miss something. I don't have time for that so I check it when I can. Such a shame. I guess we can all hope that someone gets this mess straightened out as I'm sure it's no fun for the small team that is still supporting us in Flight either. It's gotta be them darn compooters.

 

I loaded Flight earlier and was welcomed with the Hinalele Falls aerocache also. I didn't think much of it, as it was one I got earlier but then I noticed that it didn't have the check mark. So, I went and got it. I didn't see another, however.  It's ok to get the repeats if they aren't checked, but it messes up the "unique cache" count.

 

I just checked the site again and it's fallen back to Ladd Airfield.

I never did those helicopter Aerocaches so that explains it for me. And I still left the bottom one for the helo (Stonelance might be working on aircraft conversions so I should pull out my trusty gMax and start designing a small sport helo, maybe a Mosquito XET turbine or the Guimbal 2-place with fenestron. B)  )
