April 22, 201313 yr I myself will be buying the 747 shortly just to support pmdg and then the 777,which should keep me occupied for a very long time as she is my favorite bird. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
April 23, 201313 yr So if I buy the 747 and then in 6 months time I will own two 747's. what am I missing here? I feel like an outcast lol Waiting now for the T777. ZORAN
April 23, 201313 yr Commercial Member will existing owners pay full price? Yes, this is not an upgrade to the original. The 400X is 6 years old at this point this new one will do to it what the NGX did to our old 737. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
April 23, 201313 yr With my 744X being not even 3 months old, you'll have to include a wx radar, too!!! What happened to AVSIM
April 23, 201313 yr I have waited patiently since the anouncement, and so has she. Ever since this little girl (the NGX) showed up in my inbox, poor G-CIVX has been mostly hangared. Despite completing her D check in real life (great documentary BTW) she still languishes in my virtual hangar. Several times, I brought her out, once even completing an EGLL- EGFF rotation. Each time I put her away, with a carefully worded whisper, promising to fly her to the far reaches of the world- soon. The NGX is THAT GOOD! Yet, I would not trade one memory, one experience, one sim session. With the PMDG 747 I was finally able to sate that part of me, that still looks wistfully into the sky, every time an aeroplane crosses overhead. If you haven't explored the departure turn out of Heathrow at 390T, on a hot summer's day- buy her now. If you have't flown down the IGS at Kai-Tak, wipers clacking, peering out the windshield through the monsoon rain, wanting to see the checkerboard so badly, you can almost conjure it up- buy her now. If you want to watch the wastelands flashing by to interrupt thoughts, ephemeral in consistency, promulgated by long haul in the upper stretches on Mongolia in metric flight- buy her now. If you an imagine setting down a very fat girl, light as a feather, almost like a stroke of paint going on the touchdown zone markers- buy her now. If you want to leave Mexico City on an August afternoon, having to sweat your take-off performance and watch the airport fence approaching at an alarming rate- buy her now. In short- she is beautiful, systems faithful, FMC accurate and once you wrap your head around the slight fuel burn bias- very, very accurate in simulation. If you want to LEARN how to operate the 747- buy her now. You can immerse yourself in the FCOM, Bill Bulfer, Mike Ray et al- and when V2 releases you will only have to conquer you amazement curve- instead of then trying to wrap your head around the superlative experience. Keep in mind, all this is an opinion- and you know what they say about opinions..... Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

(Just to second your bottom line, Carl!) Ryan, couldn't you just hand over the v2.0 feature list? Need to check it as a possible birthday present for my mom, anyway! What happened to AVSIM
