April 21, 201313 yr I'm no expert but AFAIK you can't use MS with HDR and I'm asking myself if your settings actually disable HDR mode because they force combined SS+MS. That would explain performance gain and better AA-quality. In addition to that I doubt that transparency Supersampling is of any use in XP, Ben never mentioned it. XP10 (esp. in HDR mode) and FSX are completely different when it comes to AA and FSX settings won't do no good I guess. Can you post a night shot with cars and streetlamps? But if you're happy with it...everything is allright. Cheers Flo

October 2, 201312 yr Can someone share its own nvidia inspector and rendering optn to avoid shimmering effect? Riccardo OS: Windows 10-64 bit, CPU: i7-7700K @4.20 GHz, GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 8GB GDDR5, RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32GB 3000MHz, MB: MSI Z270
October 2, 201312 yr Here are mine, that work beautifully: In X-Plane I have: HDR Off, Anti-aliasing 8x and Aniso 16x Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
October 2, 201312 yr That means you don't run HDR mode. Shimmering without HDR is usually not a problem cause MSAA is fast and good. Because HDR rendering doesn't work with MSAA you need FXAA or SSAA. And FXAA alone is not good enough and SSAA is very slow (=expensive performance-wise) as we all know. The only AA in HDR that gives a good image quality is FXAA+4xSSAA or higher, but that will hit your FPS seriously. Flo Flo B.
October 3, 201312 yr Has anyone got XP10 working well with multiple GPUs? I'm having a hard time getting it to scale (aka utilize more than one GPU). Thanks, Rob.
