The NI settings you linked to are dated.  Check out the AVSIM Software and Hardware Guide pinned at the top of this forum for the latest settings.  Look at Page 15 of the guide in particular.  It will help reduce shimmering.  If this doesn't resolve your problem, try searching this forum using the keyword 'shimmering'.  This is a major problem for many and not all shimmering can be eliminated but it can definitely be reduced to the very minimum.

Best regards,

Jim

Quite fixed with the glass instruments shimmering using the Super Sampling .

However Airport runways and taxiways shimmer still exist

Make sure DX10 Preview is not enabled.  This is a known bug in DX10.

Are you using 8xS plus 2xSGSS as a rule? What if you go to 4xSGSS although I have heard that will dump your fps when lots of clouds surround you.

Any example airports? Are these payware? ORBX? Default?

Did you revert back to 1024?

Did you revert back to 1024?

I probably will do as I am also experiencing graphical spikes at FSDT's CYVR. The reason for the 4096 TML setting was it cured skeleton views in the NGX. It's the same old darn story with FSX, give with one hand and it takes with another

That's right ...I don't stick to flying with single plane , I purchased Airbus X Ext so I fly different airplanes most of the time.. 1024 won't matter to me if it fixes shimmers
