October 1, 200421 yr Author I've been there, I don't want to say I know how you feel because all of us have different relationships with our parents... I'll just say it's always sad to loose someone you care about or a loved one period. Hold those memories dear and know you'll see him again one day... October 4, 200421 yr NickSo sad to hear that your Dad crossed over as Native Americans say, and do believe he is in another place. My parents were in their 90's when they passed but despite people speaking of what a long life they lived, it was still difficult. In fact, it has been 12 years since my father left us and 5 for my mother - it still smarts. There are many times I would love to call them up and or stop by.If my mother was still here she would be on sedatives knowing I was flying, but she is fine with it from the vantage of where she is now.I hope it doesn't come off as trite when I say that your beloved father will continue to live as long as you hold onto to the memories.Speak of him and to him and be aware of his presence. He knows where you are, what you are doing and he approves.Louis
