July 15, 201312 yr It depends on how large an area you want cover with your reef. I can think of at least 3 ways: 1) Create a semi-transparent reef texture and place it in the water using WED ... this is useful for small areas (easy) 2) Create a semi-transparent reef texture and create your own beach file (.bch) which references the texture you made. Then make a library.txt file and assign lib/g8/beaches.bch to your new texture (moderate) - covers anywhere where there is a beach, but this will include lakes and rivers so it will look odd. 3) Use Meshtool (difficult) - you have the most control over this, but it requires a lot of setting up ... unfortunately you can only create X-Plane 9 scenery at the moment.
