April 24, 201313 yr I'm presenting here my aircraft - The P180 Avanti II. This is an upgrade of the original XP9's Avanti. Main features: Flight model within 10% of the real aircraft (as per manual) Real autopilot operations Many SASL-driven functions Full compatible with X-Plane 10 64-bit Full modeled 3D cockpit with lot of maniplulators The file can be downloaded from x-plane.org, here: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=18239
April 24, 201313 yr Author BUG FOR X-PLANE 10: When switching on the landing lights (LDG position), the lights might not come on, instead they will flicker. To fix that download the file below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/qac6wqsus2pwfl0/switches.lua.zip INSTALLATION: 1. Unzip the file. 2. Put the file to P180 Avanti II/Customs Avionics folder, and replace the previous file. 3. Go and test it. It have been tested and is working in X-Plane 10 latest release 32/64bit and HDR ON/OFF.
May 21, 201313 yr Author There are 2 updates for my Avanti. You can find the first one here (that is actually the 2nd update after the first above): http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=60715&p=737865 --------------------------- The next update is to for X-Plane 10 only. I have added the "prefill" future of X-Plane 10. This should improve frame rates quite a bit! You can downloaded from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zulak010ctim7tf/P180_1_1_update3.zip There is a Readme file inside to help you with the installation. Enjoy it!
May 26, 201313 yr I'll certainly taste this one ASAP! Thx!!!! May 31, 201313 yr Author Hi there! Updating the cockpit night lighting for the next version (for X-Plane 10 only!) What do you think?
June 2, 201313 yr Well, it took a while to get there, but I have finally completed a full flight, from Vila Real to Lisboa in this dream aircraft! Very good performance, with flight dynamics very plausible. It's a professional add-on! Thx for making it available for the community Airfighter!!! June 2, 201313 yr Looks very nice, but I'm having a small problem. I can't get it to move  Turned off the parking brake but still no joy... i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
June 3, 201313 yr Author @jcomm you are very welcomed! @scotchegg have put the condition lever full forward? You can use F4 for that.
June 3, 201313 yr Cheers, will try later. That's what happens when you get people with poor technical skills in remotely advanced planes:) i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
June 4, 201313 yr Author Try to use the checklist i have provided with the plane (there is also a more detailed version in the Operating Manual). That will help!
June 4, 201313 yr It is helpful to have the checklist on the MFD. Generally great quality payware - thanks for your work! One nice addition might be glass textures with reflections for the VC - currently it seems very transparent, almost like there's no glass. Might it be possible to copy the textures from the default Avanti? i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
June 5, 201312 yr Author I have actually made some tests (check here). They were only static and they needed a lot of work to get it right. I might incude them in a later release.
