I decided to stay with the "no pop-ups" concept soto facilitate better autopilot manipulation, I addedHSI, ALT and VSI gauges into window38. Here's my panel.cfgmodification to window38:[Fixed Window38]file=downview.bmp size_mm=1024position=7visible=0ident=38nomenu=0window_size= 1.000, 1.000window_pos= 0.000, 0.000gauge00=707nightlights!lower, 0,0,261gauge01=707server!ins, 261,0,500gauge02=707centre!throttles, 338,199,348gauge03=707server!autopilot, 336,576,350//gauge04=707basics!alt1, 695,580,80gauge05=707basics!vsi1, 695,660,80gauge06=707gyros!hsi1, 190,585,136,155//gauge07=F16!Radar, 410,0,169,180gauge08=F16!Radar Mode, 408,180,80,20gauge09=F16!Radar Range, 490,180,79,20Note that I also addded Eric Marciano's F16 radar gaugeto overlay the non-funtional "radar" depicted in the originalpanel.I modified the down.bmp to include grey panel background areas for the added HSI,ALT,VSI gauges.I attempted to add ledgends for the radar mode and rangeswitch areas however it appears that one of the originalgauges overlays the actual down.bmp in that area, thus myledgends never show. One only has to remember that theblank area below the radar screen contains the four hot-spotsfor MODE -/+ and RANGE -/+Here are a couple of screen shots showing my installation:(not sure how to embed the .jpg's here) Paul

I have just finished quickly testing new files I have made by combining parts of the originals with others I have found. Nothing added by me, all I have done is decide which bits needed changing and replacing values from the other files. I'm very pleased with the changes. Much closer to how I would expect the plane to fly while retaining a lot of the character (not knowing exactly how it should fly) and it flies well by hand.I will offer these files to anyone who wants them. Please email me with the request for 707 files and I will send them as soon as I can, which should be within 24 hours:[email protected] reply will be minimal and will contain the 2 files as attachments.Further information:Please back up your existing aircraft.cfg and airfile before installing mine, in case you don't like the changes or want to carry over any of your own changes. Note that both files must be installed to work as intended. The new aircraft.cfg incorporates the new lights settings posted earlier (comment out the light.7 line if you don't want the VC light effect) and the correct atc lines that were added by Bill. I have also added suitable airline and flight number lines that are usually seen in other planes. You can change them to whatever you want. I hope that anyone who tries the files will like them better than the existing ones. Comments are welcome but there will have to be a limit to how much I can correct anything if at all.
