Shameless off topic question: I wonder if I should purchase Peter's new A320 and retire my A320 NEO? I know Peter's bus does not have a VC, but I'm tired of the NEO beta cycles, it's still a can of bugs and not working features. The 3D VC for his A320/A321 series will be released this summer/fall Peter told me by email. I haven't flown my 320neo since I bought the 380, I actually deleted it  Peters 320/321 and 380 is full 32/64 bit :good: Peter's Aircraft have the sexiest exterior lights I have ever seen  Not even the 777 Ramzzess can match Peter's Flight Model(Fly by Wire) or the exterior lighting. The 777 Worldliner has the ugliest wingtip lights I have ever seen in a payware with Pic it's hard to see the effect of the wing tip lights, strobe lights etc.
May 12, 201313 yr Peter has dedicated a huge amount of research work in the development of his Airbus series. I have exchanged a few messages with him, and although I never bought any of his models, they're on my to-buy list, should I ever decide to give myself a second chance and buy X-Plane10 back :-/ Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
May 12, 201313 yr This has probably been discussed before, but how is performance between the 380 and 777? Skickat från min Nexus 4 via Tapatalk 2 Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
May 12, 201313 yr Well, ready to order now, thank you all. Damned, too late now... I invited the whole family (and this is a lot) to a Spanish restaurant today and saw all my "gaming money" disappear in their mouths, lol. So I have to wait for the next month now, next time I'll order immediately. There was a little bit left for the EU B727 texture pack, boarding historical LH170 Cologne to Frankfurt now...
May 13, 201313 yr This has probably been discussed before, but how is performance between the 380 and 777? Skickat från min Nexus 4 via Tapatalk 2 I'm assuming the question relates to how the PC performs with these 2 aircrafts? With both planes running 3D cockpit IMO they compare favourably, with probably the 777 running a tad faster on my system. When flying the 2D cockpit the A380 wins hands down .. but then the 777 doesn't have a 2D cockpit (and I prefer 3D cockpits as well). I'm running Win 7 (64bit) with 7850 AMD Catalyst chipset graphics card & 8 Gb of RAM ... running X-Plane with HDR on and get approx 20 - 24 fps @ any major airport (I'm using Chris K's HD YSSY as my 'hub'), but it quickly escalates to a stable 30 fps once flying ... and I've got Gizmo installed as well with the frame limiter set to 30 fps .. otherwise it's often in the high 40's outside of an airport .
