May 10, 201313 yr I uninstalled FSUIPC, then reinstalled it. My original was the paid version , but the key will not work now. What should I do now?
May 10, 201313 yr Hi ,when reinstalling the program it usually gives you 3 options regarding the activation code I can not remember the exact wording but you can at that stage re enter you code ,enter new code etc , I do not know why but if I have to re enter /update FSUIPC I need to obtain my code from my account on the the retailers website (,i can not locate email sent to me with the code on it), then using the copy /paste feature I just re enter the code ,and it works fine for me peter
May 10, 201313 yr You dont unistall FSUIPC. If you dont want it to work just remove the fsuipc and ini, than it shouldnt start. when you reinstall just select" use existing Key" and it will work fine as long as you havnt deleted the key file. All in teh modules folder.

May 10, 201313 yr Author NEW ERROR MESSAGE FSUIPC Installor for FSX Cannot place FSUIPC4DLL into FSX Modules Folder. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
May 10, 201313 yr Commercial Member Are you sure that your fsx.exe or any other sim related programs aren't running when you are trying to install?
May 10, 201313 yr Re boot your computer, then try again. Go to modules folder in the root dir of FSX and see if your FSUIPC key file is there. May 11, 201313 yr <p>The FSUIPC.dll is the only file you need to delete before installing a new version. If you have lots of entries - several profiles and controllers, then the .ini should be backed up so you can use it again after the install.
