May 13, 201313 yr Hi, Looking at purchasing the 600/700. What are the differences between the 800/900 and the 600/700 in the cockpit? Thanks Greg Greg Marshall Windows 10 x64 | i7-6700K Skylake 4.2 GHz | 16GB DDR4 2133MHz | 750W PSU | GTX 970 4GB | Asus Z170 PRO Gaming Motherboard | H80i V2 CPU Cooler | Cooler Master Silencio 652S Case | Asus 23" Frameless Full HD Monitor | 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD for OS & 2TB Seagate HDD for FSX
May 13, 201313 yr Not many. The only thing that you may notice is a small difference in the air conditioning panel, since there's only one temperature control knob for the PAX cabin and one recirculation fan switch in these smaller variants, while the -800 and -900 variants have two of those. May 13, 201313 yr You can search "600/700" in FCOM and see all the differences. I think only air conditioning panel have some other knobs, lights and indicators. Also there is other flight model for this aircrafts too. Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?

I will give it a go, I've heard pilots say it flys the most like the old 200 series! May 13, 201313 yr What are the differences between the 800/900 and the 600/700 in the cockpit? Hi, Appreciate you said "in the cockpit", but I also understand the -600 slows down a little quicker than the slippery -800! Thanks Carl Carl Beeby
May 14, 201313 yr Yeah the air conditioning panel is different. A bit different. And you will obviously be missing 2 of the over wing exit lights on the door panel. The 600 really is quick to respond to change of speed. 800 being slippery, I find you are being kind. That thing is not to be flown distracted into the terminal area that is for sure. Prior to the NGX I pretty much only flew the LDS 767 or PMDGs 747, and none of them were like the NGX, that thing really is hard to slow down. The 600, heck, even the 900 I find is much easier to slow down. The 800 really requires you to stay ontop of the speed, more so than anything I have flown in FSX.
