It looks like you nailed that problem finally, because this evening my AVSIM fora session was very very fluid and easy, no page reloading at all whereas before, each time I was moving from one topic to the next the entire forum would literally "reload" (if that makes sense), but in any case, that navigation was lengthy, slow and unpleasant. Not anymore, so thank you for your efforts! Great work!

Same here. Forum pages and discussion threads all load within 3 to 5 seconds. Everything feels quite snappy, even compared to how things were before the latest bout of performance issues. Inquiring minds are curious though what the cause of the page load delays were, and what y'all did to fix it.

 

Edit: looks like the posting of new messages and editing posts seems a lot faster, too.

I smoked a peace pipe with our four servers, decided they were not going to play fair, pipe or otherwise, so I threatened them with banishment to the server bone yard. That got their attention and now they have stepped up their "game" so to speak.

 

Seriously, we are cleaning stuff out, doing some code validation and error determinations and then taking remedial action. It's ongoing and hopefully we'll continue to see improvements in speed of response.

I agree with everyone posting before me, the forum loading times are the same as everywhere else again. A big Thank You from me, too!

Yes but what happened to the bring back to the top option you tried it several time's

and now that feature is disabled I like it.
