As I am sure you have noticed, we were off line for a couple of hours today. Our MySQL database took a nose dive sometime last night and we finally were able to put it right. We will be doing some further work on the database system and will let everyone know when we expect to go off line, if at all, to do that work.

LOL - yea that one had me scratching my butt for a while.  Glad to see that the DB folks got it sorted out.

I have a lot of Drs in my family and when the grandkids ask: "Why aren't you a doctor?", I tell them that when a person gets sick you have to be nice and soothing and help them get better. When a machine gets sick, you grab a hammer and beat it till it works!

The outages and slow downs seem to be happening very frequently recently. Do you think you'll have it all under control soon?
