I'm not one to bash payware sites here in this forum but as the subject says I'm at the end of my rope with these people. I can't get into their forums. They don't answer emails and when I leave a post in their support forum they answer by telling me to try things I just told them I did try.. Like they didn't read my post at all. I'm on the verge of contacting my credit card company and have them do a payment withdrawl. Now to explain my situation I purchased FS Enhancer 2004 from their website 5 days ago. I emmediatly got an email from the people who handle their online commerce letting me know they have billed me. But, and here is the sticking point. I never received a single email from Lago even after I sent them 4 emails three days apart telling them I did not get an email from them to give me the serial number and user ID that it takes to make FS Enhancer functional. They finally did give me a serial number on one of the 5 posts I made asking for support but I'm still waiting for the user ID. Their answer is that it's all "automatic" and I should have received both the serial number and user ID in an email and called the problem "fixed". Well That never happened and when I go to the area of the sight to retrieve this info it tells me that the information has been sent when it in fact has NOT. I've done everything suggested. Checked spam filters, lowered internet security and clicked on that stupid icon a hundred times. Now I don't think I'm asking too much do You? I don't really want a refund I just want the program I purchased to work. But if I do end up asking for a refund this will be both my first and last purchase from Lago and I will warn other people about the pitfalls of dealing with this company. Their website is full of "page not found" and broken links to things that are supposed to be "automatic" therefore they don't have to do anything further.Thanks for Listening and before you tell me to email them, post to their forum or put in a trouble ticket to their support page... re read my post. Will for the record I feel your pain... The problem with Lago is product as well. Don't get me wrong, Lago has had some great packages but FSE came up short (so did the MadDog project). There were so many high hopes for FSSE in FS2k2 because it was a revolutionary idea. When FS2k4 came out all of us looked forward to the update and was told at the least the same functionality of FSSE would be present in FSE for FS2k4. Now they've reneged on that promise and instead of updating the package, many key FS2k4 objects were left out and a whole lot of useless objects added. There's really no excuse when I see the default FS2k4 objects present in the new Rome scenery... :-hmmm Many like myself had a problem with this and Lago informed us they would add the Flight Simulator default objects in the next patch. In the mean time Lago has seen allot of restructuring and some key people resigning. Now they tell us they never intended on adding the FS2k4 objects as was the case with FSSE and if we want that feature we'll have to wait for FSE Exchange to be released... That means spending another $20+ dollars on a whole new add-on. no thanks Lago... So seeing how you've been treated is not that unexpected. The rest of us have got the shaft as well. Posting here is perfectly justified as it let's others know what to expect when dealing with this company. On a positive side, Lago still produces out the hanger quality add-on

Some of the flightsim payware sites offer no real customer satisfaction feedback reports or remove valid customer feedback/concerns or attack such feedback/concerns to protect a product that may not be up to par and to keep sales coming in. Don't you love it when you can go to an independent site when ordering a product and see what others have to say about the purchasing process and product usefulness? Being able to do so has saved my butt countless times. I recently puchased a product that was shipped via UPS and learned after the fact that the company I purchased the product from had a history or not shipping promptly and not returning phone calls or email. I wish I knew this beforehand.Will is right to bring this to our attention. I will not necessarily stop purchasing from Lago but I will listen and possibly make my deceision to purchase a particular product of their's based on Will's critique.As consumers all we have is our buying power and word of mouth.Best wishes to all,

will, You can use any number as user id, if it has the correct number of digits. I'm sorry, I can't remeber how many digits, but I believe its 8 (hexa decimal). The reason for the number is when using the "upcoming" exchange, your scenery will be identified by that number among other things. If you just wanna play around with it for now any number should do. At least that what I've heard, as I have my number.Hope this helps..CheersPeter

I had a similar problem with the so called support at FSHOTSEAT.COMthey just don't read your post properly.email after email going over the same ground.no constructive comment at all.to be avoided at all costs... hopefuly your problem will be resolved soon best wishes steve

Therefore, when (and if)they release it, it will be in the form of a free update.Have a good one...Howard

I'll believe that when I see it... :-roll I still don't think their going to include the default FS2k4 objects in FSE Exchange that you can find in all their other sceneries... Why this is such a problem I'll never understand. :-hmmm

I've followed their forum very closely about FSE - I agree with you. I'll believe it when it's on my hard drive.

the email could have been caught by a antispam filter lago email allways get caught in my spamcop filters... i keep forgeting to whitelist em..
