December 14, 201312 yr He said the Orxy project has completely fallen through and will not happen. The pre-buyers will not get their money back either. I was shocked and disappointed.... Well, this is terrible news. Is there anything legally we can do to try to get our pre-order money back? And does this make Orxy a candidate for the Avsim Wall of Shame? **UPDATE**: I emailed Florian Fermin at Oryxsim directly and he promptly refunded my pre-order money for CYYZ. Anybody who pre-ordered this can email him at [email protected] and ask for a refund. It would have been nice if they made some formal announcement about the cancellation of the project and refunded pre-order money automatically. In any case, happy I got my money back and I'm looking forward to what FlyTampa does. December 14, 201312 yr Commercial Member It's really too bad that this has happened. I have the Canadian airports package from them and rather like it, since those airports are in the area I regularly fly in the sim. I wish they would of suck to doing small regional airports for Canada, instead of trying to bite off such a big project. Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
December 14, 201312 yr candidate for the Avsim Wall of Shame If it is true (that he will keep all pre paid money) then I would say yes. Even though I was never was interested in his version due to the fact it did not look that good. The FS9 DiFranco version works well in FSX and will hold me over until Fly Tampa gets it's version done. the freeware CYYZ2007 is pretty close to FlyTampa quality, with less detailing. With all due respect to Dennis DiFranco (the artist who did CYYZ2007). You can't be serious... Al Stiff
December 15, 201312 yr I couldn't disagree more with the simaddons comment. It's FS9 quality and you'll need to spend plenty of $$ based on his purchasing model before you'll figure it out.
