wilco airbus evolution vol 1 and 2 problem

Featured Replies

There's a problem when i do an ils landing. The plane catches the localizer correctly but when the glidescope is alive the plane goes beneath the glidescope and lands short of the runway. I put the panel of the wilco airbus to a project opensky airbus a330, did the same thing! but when i put another panel on the project opensky it lands perfectly! Is there a fix for this???

Ditch the evolution package as it's a hack of the original work. I tell people this all the time when I hear things like this. Get the original project...

FS2020

Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

I'm just wondering what do you mean by "hack" I don't have either but I just would like some clarification on your meaning of "Hack"! ;)

I worked on the original project. When I say hack the original intention of all features were that they not only work in the 2D panel but the VC as well. Take FS2Crew for example were click spots were created in the VC to integrate the packages. FS2crew worked with the original developers of the Feelthere Airbus package. The guy who did the 'Evolution' upgrade didn't even bother and took his freeware work and packaged it with Wilco's blessing. As Wilco and Feelthere are two separate companies Wilco had the name rights and let this happen. I don't know why Feelthere didn't step in and challenge this as it would have been nice to force the issue and have a package with basically the same name be a true upgrade. Have it with all new functionality in both the 2D and VC, have a VC graphic update, and bring in all developers/testers to fully give the product the once over. Evolution was never tested before release by the original team nor did any of us see it coming.

Very well spoken and insightful.

Thanks for the clarification Dillon!
