October 30, 200421 yr Lou is a master at panels. PMDG's 737 could have been better done although the 800-900 is much better than the original. The 744 will have a SAVE FUNCTION, as for the panel work have a PEEK here...http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/744_MenRay18Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. October 30, 200421 yr As I stated in my post, the PMDG 737 is a great aircraft made by a great bunch of guys and I do not allow the hand drawn panel to keep me from enjoying it.All other things being equal I would choose a photoreal panel over a hand drawn panel all the time.BTW, the Captain Sim 727's VC is also photoreal. And the fact that its still the most FPS friendly heavy out there, means that the resource point is moot whether its from just the panel or the entire sim, or the entire computer or whatever.I know that a lot of proud PMDG supporters would prefer photoreal panels, but that didn't stop them from getting it anyway. (Heck....even Randy (CRVM) preferrs it). Bottom line.....Photoreal better for immersion factor. But if you have a great company producing a great airplane with a hand drawn panel, that shouldn't stop you from getting it. That has always been my opinion.
October 30, 200421 yr Anthony, Anthony,It has been said hundreds of times, lets move on ...I would rather hear what you have to say about the Randy's pic above. I stared at it for like 10 minutes last night and I must admit this is some brand new panel quality coming from PMDG. October 31, 200421 yr That is just stunning.....I hope the overhead and other panels are as good as that...in the previews on the PMDG site they dont look no where near as good as this preview.Alex
