PFPX uplinks to the B772?

Featured Replies

Will the B772 support up-linking from the airline dispatcher using PFPX directly to the PERF INIT, TAKEOFF REF, DESCENT FORECAST, RTE, ALTN, ALTN LIST, and WIND pages?

Now that would be slick!

Not holding my breath on that one, but it sure would be cool.

We don't even know yet if the PFPX will be able to uplink it out.

Brilliant question Richard. The way I see it, the PMDG 777 is probably going to be the main use when it comes to PFPX. Clearly the kind of people who are interested in PFPX are going to want a level of realism provided by PMDG, and similarly I think a lot of PMDG customers are going to be interested in PFPX. Of course, PFPX has a use with the NGX as well, however it'll really shine when it comes to long-haul routes (i.e. the T7) so it would be great if both PMDG and PFPX worked on integrability of the two.

Yes this function would be a great addition. But I think unless they have changed there SDK functionality with the 777 I can't see it happening. I'm pretty sure the NGX SDK can't input onto the FMC,
