New PMDG OPS CENTER <- Friggin' Awesome! :)
OPS CTR is very slick Ryan, congrats to you and the team!

Do you have it yet?
Yes, loving every minute of it! Was also lucky, no purchase or download issues... Flying Tutorial #1 flight, Ryan put together a very nice flight, top notch again, like the NGX tutorials...What an amazing plane, hand flying in the pattern is fantastic! For those trying to use it with DX10 preview...They clearly state in the intro PDF, that they do not support DX10. The intro manual is really worth reading.

PFPX and PMDG aircraft
Very good to know, I have not yet had time to play with the bias stuff either, with regards to using the NGX with PFPX. Excellent info Ryan, thanks for sharing this.

30AUG13 - PMDG 777-200LR/F Release Plan Update (Important!)
Apparently 'let down' is not getting the product on the day those complaining think it should be released  . Don't know why people are getting so bent out of shape...They are still in the original 1 week release window of 8/28 to 9/4 and Rob's post about the bug delay only puts it out one day from that to 9/5, barring any other show stopper issues are found.

PFPX and PMDG aircraft
Good stuff Charlie, Based on the settings from the post I linked, the tweaks to the EW-MZF-MTO wind up updating the MGW (Max Ramp Weight) in both PFPX and Topcat. Which is contrary to the way I was originally setting it up as per Chris Palmer's guide from AOA. That being said, I did a flight with the settings from Al's post and my numbers across the board were spot on across all three. Was really cool having PFPX and Topcat matching so nicely and then having the NGX so closely match the PFPX numbers was great. Still trying to grasp all of this, as I am no expert by any means. Having PFPX for the all things planner and Topcat as the performance tool is cool. Would you mind showing the baggage code snippet from the OFP template you made? I know I read in the PFPX forum that <&baggage> is the string to use for adding that to the OFP template, curious as to the formatting you used. Thanks.

PFPX and PMDG aircraft
Spot on Alex! Looks like the T7 and PFPX are good to go, thanks for sharing  Shane/Charlie/Craig...I found what I believe to be the answer to the weight stuff for the NGX: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/417842-topcat-pfpx-737ngx-weights-how-to/ Basically verifies that the stock weights in both Topcat and PFPX need to be adjusted for the NGX....Glad I found it before doing my test, this method looks solid, going to set mine up this way and do some flights.

PFPX and PMDG aircraft
Absolutely, I will post my numbers from both flights...And yes, I was going to ask the devs why the numbers they have are different. I am thinking they have a specific reason, related to their software, but that can only be answered by them.

PFPX and PMDG aircraft
Shane, The 94700 for the 738 was most likely derived from PFPX, although, mine shows 94779, as the stock value for the -800. The 91300 is the actual EW weight in the aircraft.cfg for the NGX800. I also modified my a/c templates for the B737 & B738 in PFPX, to use the EW from the NGX cfg. I also changed the MGW (max ramp weight) to what the NGX cfg states, and that value for the -800 is 174700. I learned this from Chris at AOA, he does some training stuff in the 737 NGX training course and changes the defaults in PFPX to match the NGX cfg. The -700 a/c cfg shows EW of 83000 and MGW of 153500, again different numbers than what PFPX has. I am going try to do some tests today, using the same route/pax/cargo/weather and do two flights, one w/ PFPX out of the box numbers and one flight using the a/c cfg numbers and see what I get.

Livery Manager
Fair question, I would be willing to bet it has it's own manager...Who knows, maybe they have enhanced it? Remember that whole 'Surprise' thread? Well, maybe the livery manager has some new coolness over the NGX version????? Pure speculation of course.

Yes and the NGX apparently has a flat tire...They don't have any on site, so they need to fly in a tire from home base.
