Max speed 390 KTAS.

We need some actual bizjets! (Fast)

Actually if F1's Mustang had the G1000 like in their king air I'd fly it a lot more often. (Performance).

I'll prolly get it as I can still run RXP with their g1000's.

Sigh....an old steam gauge gulfstream is what I want

Or an older Dassault Falcon

+ about 100 or so......

I forget which one, but I saw a NatGeo on some older Lear, something about the first one built that was originally for the French Military??? Could be wrong, but man it looks great...still, even with the new XR out.

Its a few guys at Carenado.....Add on teams are not that big.  Orbx is a large group but they have different teams working on different things.  Even then, it might only be a few guys doing an airport.  And maybe a dozen on a region.  Look at the orbx manual.  Only 10 on that team and a few of those may have only played minor roles.  PMDG; no more than 10 of them either.

Edit. Searched for the interview I remember.  Two founders.  12 total. http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/content.php?13703-Interview-Fernando-Herrera-Of-Carenado

Interesting. I would imagine 12 people is quite a lot for a company that only does aircraft add-ons. Many aircraft development teams are just 2-3 people (excluding beta testers) or even a one-man show. It's just the rate these guys keep pumping out aircraft - the PA46 was announced just as the C206 came out the door, almost in parallel with the TBM 850, and they already seem to have the complete textured exterior done,  and now they already have untextured, but pretty complete looking renderings of the next project after that..which yesterday they weren't even sure they were going to make. All while at the same time releasing the PA38 as Alabeo...

It's a huge contrast to some teams that take 1-2+ years between each add-on.

Yes 12 people is a big group for an FS development team

Do FS developers do what they do as a second job or as a hobby? Because i dont think you could make enough revenue with just developing aircraft or scenery.

For 99% of them this is an on the side thing

I only know a few besides myself, and only a small percentage of them are able to make a living solely from FS design. I spend most of my days doing web design and development while trying to scratch out an hour or two a day for FS modeling. It's an uphill struggle sometimes. Several times, I've considered devoting myself full-time to FS work, but the income from it is so random; some projects surprised me with how popular they were, while others that I thought would be a big hit just fizzled. Still, I love doing it so much that I keep trying to find a way.

Please don't stop Bill, you are one of the legends in Flight Simulator Scenery Design.
