We'd had a nice flight downstream to Arctic Angel / Delta Dave's

at the confluence of the Delta and Tanana rivers.

 

Enjoyable detour, with a couple of bridges (Luis ?).

 

Then started again from scratch, but headed east.     :lol:

 

 

 

When I first saw this aerocache, I thought it was a repeat / duplicate

 

AOTD - Tanana Crossing
CLUE - Pick up the Alaska Highway and follow it to the end, but don't stop there! Submitted by community member Air1

Thanks for posting this Basys  I had a 1 hour appointment this afternoon that turned into a 3 hour one.

I am smiling on the outside, but crying inside! Still have not gotten my refurbished GTX 460 back from the service center.

 

To think - all those bridges just waiting for me! :lol: Can't wait to get back to flying. Did I mention I love this game? And have for decades even when the only fun was soaring at Sausalito (was it still wire-frame scenery then? Can't remember.)

Sorry about that guys. I had ordinarily cancelled this one after I had submitted it as being overly confusing. But it seems to have been put out anyway. It is a nice flight in the end, hope it is not to much trouble. It will be tomorrow before I am able to try it myself.

I also followed the road in both directions to their end. I flew east first and missed it, and then I flew west and did not find it. I then started from the Aerocach Hunt and bagged it with no problem. All in all a good flight, a lot of nice scenery to the west. :lol:
