If current airspeed remains above target speed for 5 seconds, target airspeed is reset to current airspeed (limited to a maximum of V2 + 25). August 24, 201312 yr Commercial Member I notice on the beta videos on YouTube, V2 is set to V2+ 10 If you were watching mine, the procedure was a little off. I didn't realize the automagic applied the additive correction in the background for you. Kyle Rodgers

If you don't mind me jumping in here to ask about the 737NG (while we're on the subject of correct MCP set-up), I've seen both V2 and V2+10 used. Is there one correct method for the 737 too, or is it company specific? Thanks David Webster AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D | G.Skill 32GB DDR4 3600Mhz | EVGA RTX 3080 Ti @ 3440X1440 | Crucial 2TB M.2 | Win11

August 24, 201312 yr 737 FCOM says to set V2 as FD will automatically command MCP speed +20kt. OK thanks. I had been using V2 until I read Mike Ray's Training Syllabus, which called for an MCP setting of V2 +20. I'll go back to V2.
