Boeing and Airbus

Featured Replies

The Best Boeing is the 737NGX and the T7.

Got it, you guys.

It will most likely never going to happen. PMDG have close relations with Boeing and it would be dangerous if they were to sought information from Airbus, it would mean Boeing would refuse to give them any more information if PMDG were to develop another aircraft.

This is 100% false. You know we have several products over the years that are not Boeings right?

If PMDG added an Airbus to their already long list of future releases it'll probably be released in 2050... Good thing is, the i57 975509GHZ machines with 8 billion Terrabytes of Ram should run it pretty well.

The only issue for developing with Airbus is that someone needs to negotiate with Airbus. Quite possible, but again, PMDG isn't some multi-billion dollar multinational software development company with millions of employees. There's only so much stuff they can get through in any given time, and at one major release every ~2 years or more, I think their plates are pretty full as it is with 777-300ER, possibly 777-200ER, 747v2, DC6, and whatever comes after that.

Using an already well established relationship may be easier than making a new one. [/insert jokes and derisive statements about the French here.]

Personally I want FSlabs to make an Awesome A320 and A330, and PMDG to make an awesome 777-300ER (GMCS Cameras!) and 747v2, and maybe a 787 ;)

If PMDG decided to do other aircraft manufacturers then that's up to them, and the manufacturers concerned if required. It's not like Boeing are spiteful teenagers who would spit the dummy if anyone mentions "That horrible "A" word" near them.

Boeing BE1900, Boeing JS4100, Boeing MD11... (Ok that last one actually has some real merit, but the others obviously don't)

Thank you for clarifying once AGAIN, Ryan, it amazes me the amount of "experts" you have, with inside knowledge of your future plans and commercial liaisons....I read you only have 20 people at PMDG, but somehow it seems 10 times that number know exactly what you guys are doing and how,

Who cares about Airbus, when we just got the flashy new T7 to play with.... And the 747v2 is inbound.... I recon we're set for the next 2 years...
