November 14, 200421 yr Moderator >Hi there,>I downloaded the new Flight1 ATR only to find that it did not>work on a computer that does not have a internet connection>such as my flightsim puter. They gave me a refund.>I notice that you use the same Flight1 download/purchase>package so will I not be able to use this aircraft also?? You only need to be connected to the Flight One Server long enough to obtain the unlock key. You may then install it on your flight sim computer. Fr. November 14, 200421 yr >ron, one other thing, i noticed manuals for other aircraft at>your websight but didn't see one for the new addition, does>one come with it? thanks, williamThe manual was included with the aircraft download this time around. We will be offering the manual later today with a few higher rez. cockpit shots for those who wish to "take a look" before purchase:-)
November 15, 200421 yr Has the CJ1 manual been posted yet (messaging 14:00 EST 11/15/04). If so, where as I didn't find it under Documentation where other manuals are. Thanks,
November 15, 200421 yr CJ1 manual is now on our documentation page...includes a couple of 1024 panel shots:-)
November 16, 200421 yr thanks... got it.did have a few quick questions;CJ1 and X - does it have a VFR view, landing view or pilot seat type of 2d view?CJ1 and X - can you have VC cockpit with NO VC cabin (FPS issue)? CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K
November 16, 200421 yr There is a Landing View in CJ1...None in CX.CJ1 lite version is 2D cockpit and cabin only. CX has VC cockpit with out VC Cabin. All of the above is outlined on the specific AC pages on our site:-)
November 16, 200421 yr That only works if your flight sim computer is actually able to connect to the web.I have purchased planes in the past, but with the current batch that seems to be coming out with higher anti piracy measures than Microsoft, I got sick of installing planes and having to try and get new codes when I update parts inside my computer.I have no problem with anti-piracy systems, but in reality it's more of a hassle for the legitimate buyers than the pirates.i wish you all the best though - good payware planes make this hobby.
November 16, 200421 yr Moderator >That only works if your flight sim computer is actually able>to connect to the web.Not strictly true. You need only connect long enough to receive the unlock code. Once in hand, you can easily install most payware to another computer. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
November 16, 200421 yr Umm, most flight1 software requires you to connect so that it can verify the key when you reinstall.Considering a FS computer may not have a network card, or a modem it can be difficult to connect to the net.
