Eaglesoft CJ1 RELEASED!

Featured Replies

>C'mon guys, Eaglesoft products are the best around... I just>bought this new release and it's awesome... The screenshots>Eaglesoft provides are good enough, I don't see what else you>would or could want short of buying the product....:-roll That's a misleading statement if I've ever seen one, how are you supposed to fly with little tiny gauges like the screenshot they post at their website, and the comment about bandwidth being to expensive to post 1024x768 shots is bogus, for $24. a plane you should be able to post a 1024x768 panel shothttp://www.eaglesoftdg.com/images/cj1ss/pnl2.jpg

CJI or Citation X ?I don't mind your bias,Bill.Your opinion is meaningful.Tell me what you think. Thanks from an Ancient Pilot.

Yes we have...the FMC works just as the FMC in our CX:-)For more you may register and login to our support forums.

We will be issuing some Hi Rez panel shots for the doubters out there but they must be downloaded from our site when ready.

There is a 30 day policy in place:-)

Cmon now ... the ladder has been raised within the last couple of weeks so just need to compare :-) Bob

I downloaded the plane and played around with it a bit, and it's just as good as the Citation X -with the visuals improved. Easy on the framerates, too. Very good vc and cabin. Only two caveats: gauges still a bit blurry and hard to read; FMC just as (non)functional as in the Citation X.Now, if only I could find the vertical speed adjustment knob???????ricardo

Did you try the complete manual that is included:-)The coverage of the gauging is very complete.

Figured it out....with the help of one your colleagues. ricardo

Hi there,I downloaded the new Flight1 ATR only to find that it did not work on a computer that does not have a internet connection such as my flightsim puter. They gave me a refund.I notice that you use the same Flight1 download/purchase package so will I not be able to use this aircraft also?? regards Richard

We use the same policy as Flight One:-)

Flight One is top notch and have purchased many many products from them. If everyone has their policy i would buy from them too.....as Ron has said

I guess I am very spoiled. The CJ1 appears to be vastly inferior to PMDG, PIC, and ATR products. The panel looks as if Perfect Flight desinged it.Mike Brown

>I guess I am very spoiled. The CJ1 appears to be vastly>inferior to PMDG, PIC, and ATR products. The panel looks as if>Perfect Flight desinged it.>>Mike BrownFirst of all you will not purchase the above named products for $23.95. We designed the CJ1 to be a fun aircraft and that is how it is marketed.:-)If it's disapointing to you we recommend that you do not under any circumstances purchase the CJ1.:-)

I posted a few screenies here:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=172650#172650included is a pic of the VC at 1280x1024x32. But I cropped the pic, capturing just one of the gauges--to hopefully give users a chance to gauge whether the gauge is legible at that res. I think it is, but it's just my opinion. As Ron said, this aircraft is priced to be fun...and it is. Imagine yourself kicking back, sipping a glass of champaigne, in the beautiful virtual cabin/environment.But if you're a systems freak (ain't nothing wrong with that), you got a whole crop of immersive aircraft to choose from. At a higher price, yes, but that's entertainment.I spent two hours downloading this aircraft on dial-up, and I think it's worth it. I was one of the vocal ones asking Eaglesoft to do this aircraft, so in one sense I felt I HAD to buy it regardless of quality. But pleasant and expected suprise--quality is as good as any of their other work. You're either a fan of the genre or you're not, I guess. I'm a big fan, but as they always say, YMMV...-John
