No the MD-11 was not a huge success but was and still is a huge advancement in FS technology and automated systems. It remains one of my favorites to fly. Huge success or not it still took time for the price to drop.

She should be a success - but as the real bird she is still underrated. I bought the Box years ago and I use her daily

 

 

younger people, elderly people, disabled people will buy the T7 anyway if they want to - just like anybody else. And the T7 isn't a necessity for a decent living.

 

Isn't... but I think it has some merit. These groups are more often then not having much less disposable income compared to an average PMDG customer - which is probably a middle-class working man.

I suppose there are students or seniors who would like to buy the 777, but cannot pay 90 dollars for it, and would gladly buy it if they could have a discount. And if they feel they could afford, they could pay the full price anyway.

 

The end decision, in any case, stays with PMDG.
