ATC Issuing Directions in the Wrong Order

Featured Replies

Having an issue lately where ATC is issuing commands in the wrong order.  For example I will get no instructions to taxi  into position and hold.  I'll then taxi onto the runway anyway and after him yelling at me he will clear me for takeoff.  As I start the roll, he'll then clear me into position and hold.  Reinstall perhaps?

The only time this has happened to me is if I mistakenly enter the wrong runway or enter from the wrong end.

9 times out of 10, it's the rc scenery database not being updated with YOUR scenery files information. that's how rc knows where you are on the airport.

download the latest version of makerwys.exe, and install it into the root directory of fs

then start rc, and click the rebuild rc scenery database button. do not run makerwys on your own. won't work. it will make things worse.

then once the database is updated, with your scenery file information, try the flight again.

if you still have issues, then make a log, information pinned at the top of the forum. be sure to click debug before loading the .pln.

when you duplicate the problem, send me the log, tell me what runway you were going to, and what the sequence of events were.
