I guess I'm confused how to program this thing then in the first place other than selecting the type of addon through the GFConfig program.  The documentation is rather sparse.  So it can't have 777 compatibility unless I buy this tool?

Hi CaptKornDog,

Yes you need the tool for 777 support. The older versions are no longer supported.

GoFlight have done some videos regarding The GoFlight Interface Tool (GIT) and the NGX - the principles are the same for the 777. You can see them here: http://goflightinc.com/pmdg-goflight-config-tutorial-video-1/

Full documentation is here: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git.html

Avsim's very own Rob Ainscough has also done a video on GIT here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M2YrVHU2ew

Best wishes

Thanks.

Guess I was misled that just the base drivers and GoFlight hardware had the capability of programming without having to purchase anything additional.   :fool:
