So both the Virtual Cockpit 777 MCP and the Goflight MCP PRO are incorrect? What did you do to make that happen?

Yes the VS on the MCP Pro is different than the MCP on the sim. Sometimes the value on the MCP Pro will say 1300 and the the Sim MCP will say 2.4 or an number that is different than the regular value. Yes I am running the latest updates. And yes it could be something that I have done. I installed as normal and installed as an administrator to the default directory. I don't know if this is just on my sim. The NGX runs with no problem. I have the go flight config set to run as compatible addon. The rest of the panels runs fine.

My mistake. I still had the old PMDG interface installed. I removed it and so far there is no issue. The software is working great.

I just downloaded the Go flight Inter face Tool.  Iam trying to get my MCP Pro to work with the PMDG 777

 

And started P3D V2.4 and loaded the 777-300. I then started the GF Interface tool for P3D

 

I see the first light flashing read (Pink), the Simconnet light (Second one) is green and the third light under Airfcraft is blinking red/pink.

 

I got a popup saying "FSX ini file not found, PMDG Optioins file canmnot be checked/updated.

 

The Log Tab says "GoFlight worker thread failed: Unable....

 

After I hit enter for the Popup the simconnect light turns yellow.

 

 

 

Any ideas?

OK Reinstalled this interface in the same directroy drive as all my other Goflightexe and Now I have two greens and one yellow (Sim connect).

 

I can change the MCP on the sim using my MCP Pro..but the values (numbers) on my MCP Pro H/W is all zeroes. So the Display on my h/w is not working.

Thank you. That fixed it and I have also registered over there at pollypotsofware forum. 

Forgive me, an old thread.  But it seems there are a few links in here that don't work.  Recently got the MCP Pro, and seem to have it working with the NGX.  Is there a profile or utility I can use for compatibility with the 777?  Don't really have a desire to necessarily reprogram anything, just use it at face value for functionality with the 777 MCP.

You can get Goflight interface tool and it has built in support for the PMDG T7 and 737, no programming needed unless you have additional switch panels etc.

 

It is no longer donationware anymore but payware, it is worth every penny and the support is top notch.

So there isn't a freeware option to work with the 777?

That program was never really freeware in the first place. If you can find the old donationware version out there, it supported the T7 as well. That download is no longer available on Steve's site as very few people actually donated anything so now it's a payware product...
