September 15, 201312 yr Commercial Member Seems that today is the day of getting back to the Jetstream again I had a nice flight from Boundary Bay to Comox today, and here are some screenshots: And after all these hiqh quality pictures, here's one how I actually fly (i.e. without AA, without shadows, in small resolution). September 16, 201312 yr She's a beauty, and some good shots there. Where does the scenery come from? i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
September 16, 201312 yr Author Commercial Member Thanks Yes, it's a nice little plane for short trips For the scenery, have a look at the British Columbia region on my map: http://goo.gl/maps/r0VGY Bounday Bay is freeware (and with Blaine, Bellingham and Meirs Field there are some more nice airports in the same area). Vancouver and Comox belong to the "Inside Passage" payware package which contains dozens of airports and airstrips: http://scenery4xp.com/Scenery_4XP/Welcome.html As with all payware scenery packages by Tom Curtis, its visual quality is nowhere near current standards (i.e. nothing like Aerosoft or TruScenery), but I can't imagine flying without his sceneries. It is mainly the texture quality that spoils his efforts a bit, so I use "extreme" resolution everywhere. On the other hand, Tom has updated most of his stuff to use HDR lighting, and he really cares about his works. Mario Donick .:. vFlyteAir
