September 28, 201312 yr We have decided to create a complete category of forums for Prepar3d. With the upcoming release of version 2, we anticipate that there will be discussions covering all aspects of the new version and in preparation for that, we are creating an entire spectrum of forums to cover all aspects of this sim. In the coming days, look for more forums to appear in this category. If you have suggestions for Prepar3D forums that are not the obvious ones, please leave them in this thread.
September 30, 201312 yr Great idea! How about a "F.A.R." (Frequently Asked Rumors - later this can be renamed to F.A.Q.)? I mean: We have some information from LM, its developers and third party developers already. There should be a question with answers based on reliable anwsers that can be proven by a link to the origiinal scource. For example: Q: Does P3D 2.0 make use of SLI? R: No, not from the start. This may be included later by way of a patch or 2.x release. (Scource: LM-Forum http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=3204) IXEG 737 Beta-Tester and First Officer i7 [email protected], 32GB RAM, Palit GTX 1080 GameRock Premium@2Ghz, Oculus Rift S, ButtKicker X-Plane 11 latedt version on a Samsung M.2 SSD for speedy loading times

October 5, 201312 yr This is NOT a suggestion about separating High and Low, but it might help the community help itself, if we had two Tech Forums for HIGH and MODERATE computing power machines. It may reduce the endless questions and jibes about "your machine will or will not, give the result you are after" and reduce the blame game on the software when things are not as they are expected. Cheers, Mac
October 5, 201312 yr Do anybody know if the prepar3d version 2 will be directx 10 or 11 ?? DX11 per the P3D website. Lyn

October 8, 201312 yr Also perhaps one set of thread titles for Prepar3D Ver 1.4 and another set of thread titles for Prepar3D Ver 2.x. I suspect some people will continue flying Ver 1.4 after the release of Ver 2.x Cheers, Mac
