BTW: @J van E: thank you for your link, using "Sparse Grid Supersampling 8x" as you recommend, my flickering is 99% gone and also the AI traffic textures look nice now.

You're very welcome!  :smile:

Yes, exactly that.  I hope it works out for you. That is pretty much all that I did within the .cfg file.

Tried it and it didn't work for me, unfortunately.

@Mitch

I don't know your exact setup, but, I really suspect that something significant was changed, either with your fsx.cfg, NI, or some addon. I am back in dx9 at the moment and recieved the biggest boost, by switching wave animation in REX from 32bit to DXT1.  I had always had it on 32bit, until someone from REX chimed in on the dx10 forum.  I also reinstalled UT2, as I had installed a lot of AI that were not too fps friendly. These two little changes have really improved my experience.

If the dx10 fixer did anything for me, it was a little housecleaning which really improved my performance in dx9.

I own DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - NEW YORK CITY X (awesome payware, must have for all), FTX Global, FSDT KJFK v2, and a lot of Payware Planes including the PMDG 777 and many others.......My OOM's have stopped and my FPS improved alittle under DX9.  Mitch is right.
