October 4, 201312 yr Good day all. I've done numbers of flight so far and I always get this message in CDU: RW/ILS FREQ ERROR usually before TOD. Approach and RWY for landing are set correctly in APPR REF page, same way as in manual. Every time I check NAV RADIO page I find that automatically selected ILS frequency did not match to selected Approach/RWY. I have to always set ILS frequency manually. I tried to enter landing RWY before TOD, at TOD, during descent, at 10,000 ft, same thing, it didn't change anything, ILS did not autotune. Thanks for looking. October 4, 201312 yr Hi, what happens when you delete the automatically set frequency in the NAV/RAD page? Normally the correct ILS frequency should be entered automatically after deleting the old one. Sebi Regards, Sebastian
October 4, 201312 yr I guess you're starting the flight with the Cold & Dark panel state? It is a known bug that you get that error and PMDG will fix that in a next update. Hans WolteringMy Airplane Photos on Flickr - My Website
October 4, 201312 yr Author Hi Sebi. I did not even know it should be deleted. I thought the correct frequency would replace incorrect one. I'll give it a try. Well, let's wait then. Thanks. October 4, 201312 yr If you delete the incorrect course in the NAV/RAD page it automatically gets the correct course So there is a workaround for now. Hans WolteringMy Airplane Photos on Flickr - My Website
March 24, 201412 yr I did not even know it should be deleted. I thought the correct frequency would replace incorrect one. I'll give it a try. I experienced this problem last night for the first time after landing in a dozen more other airports with no issue. I also didn't know deleting the incorrect Nav/Rad will put in the correct one, but why does this happen to some and not all airports? Harry Sung
