This is my second trip to Toncontin (MHTG) and I am happy to report a successful approach and landing without a Go Around!

Thanks!

I was just wondering if the post showed up at all to anyone in the forum because after a couple of days and this now the second time I saw the post had 0 views.  I can understand no replies but no views got me wondering if there was a glitch.

Which version of MHTG are you running, T2G or LatinVFR?

Nice shot btw. That's one of the harder approaches I have experienced. I have no issues with the approach at Kai Tak, Rio (SGBR) or any other similar type approaches, but this one always seems to get me somehow. I never had to go around, but I never seems to make the best landings at this airport in the NGX.

This is T2G.  I think the NGX would be harder to land here than the 757.  It seems that the 757 is actually able to fly slightly slower than the 737.  I'm guessing due to the larger wing area by proportion compared to the 737?

Great shot. It looks like the ones on Airliners.net

I think it is amusing that FSX thinks there should be fall trees in Central America...it's the tropics!
