Nvidia announces GTX 780 Ti

Featured Replies

Interesting... Bridging the gap between the 780 and Titan. I hope this thing will allow for a 780 price drop.

They had to. AMD is releasing the R9 290X. Beats the 780 at the same price. They are locked in a battle right now. All up into November.

Waiting for the 980.

Interesting. GTX 780 performance already sits close to Titan and can even exceed it when overclocked so I would assume 780 will drop in price and 780Ti will fill it's price point. I can't see the performance bump from the 780 being all that spectacular but time will tell.

I'm already on dual 780's so while this is interesting, GTX 880/Maxwell is what will have my attention.

Performance improvement over 780 looks like it may be marginal but we'll see when benchmarks come out.

I did some initial tests (670FTW vs 780ti superclocked) in this thread.. hoping to also test the 780 FTW version for comparison.
